Enrique Chaves-Carballo, MD, Neurology
Dr. Enrique Chaves obtained his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine. He completed fellowships at both the Mayo Clinic Department of Neurology and Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Chaves is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has served as both clinical and teaching professor. He has been honored with both the George Onis Hazel Award and the Student Voice Award for Excellence in Teaching. Dr. Chaves is affiliated with Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

Chet D. Johnson, MD, Development 
Dr. Chet Johnson obtained his medical degree from the University of Kansas. He completed his internship at Cabrini Medical Center and his residency at Medical College of New York. Dr. Johnson has served as a tenured professor of pediatrics as well as the director of the Developmental Disabilities Center and chair of the pediatrics department, both at the University of Kansas. He is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics. Dr. Johnson is affiliated with Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

Gunjeet K. Kala, MD, Nephrology

Carol B. Lindsley, MD, Rheumatology
Dr. Lindsley, a multi-year Kansas City Super Doctors honoree, is board certified in pediatrics with a subspecialty in pediatric rheumatology. She has been the recipient of numerous awards, including The American College of Rheumatology Master Award, and was named among the 2005 and 2007 listings of “America’s Top Pediatricians” by the Consumer Research Council of America. Dr. Lindsley currently serves as the Chief of Pediatric Rheumatology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, and completed her internship and residency at the University of Washington Hospitals. Dr. Lindsley was a special fellow in rheumatology at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. She is affiliated with Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

Maura Wendland, PhD, Psychology
Dr. Maura Wendland obtained her B.A. from the University of Miami and her Ph.D. from the University of Kansas. She completed an internship at the University of Florida and a fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She has served as clinical assistant professor at the University of Kansas and is a member of the American Psychological Association. Dr. Wendland is affiliated with Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
