    • A time of illness can be very trying for patients, family and friends. For your comfort, our interfaith Chapel, located on the 2nd floor of the hospital, inside the ICU Waiting Room, is open 24 hours a day. Special prayer services and celebrations such as Baptisms take place as needed in the Chapel and are announced.. If you are experiencing any difficulty or are facing a death in your family or are preparing to die and would like a chaplain to visit with you, please tell the nurse/staff member attending you to page the chaplain or call the Chaplain personally at (913) 541-5442. We offer crisis and “in the moment” support during your stay and can also help you after you leave the hospital. If you have experienced a trauma or loss and need support, please contact our office and we will do our best to provide for your needs. We can also refer you to an appropriate support group. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us in your time of need.
