Vascular Care

Vascular Care

Vascular disease is the result of narrowed blood vessels and arteries due to fatty buildup along the inner walls. When blood flow is blocked to the brain, a stroke can occur. When blood flow is blocked to the heart, a heart attack can occur. Peripheral blockages occur in blood vessels that are not part of the heart or brain.

Overland Park Regional Medical Center has advanced technology and highly trained physicians to diagnose and treat your vascular conditions. In addition to a dedicated IPR vascular unit, Overland Park Regional Medical Center operates the largest abdominal aortic aneurysm stent graft program in the region.

People with vascular conditions can sometimes also experience issues related to heart care or diabetes, and may need to visit imaging and women’s care for a comprehensive treatment plan.
