Childbirth and Parenting Classes

Overland Park Regional Medical Center offers an experienced team of childbirth educators, including registered nurses, for a range of instruction in prenatal and childbirth classes. We also offer Infant CPR and a special sibling’s class. Our specially trained lactation consultants are available to help you before, during and after the birth of your baby. Prenatal breast-feeding classes and a support group for you and your baby are offered throughout the year, and a lactation consultant personally instructs breast-feeding mothers during their hospital stay.

  • Refresher courses are available for moms who just want to brush up on the basics. For more information or to register for a class, visit Healthy Arrivals at Prenatal Education Classes
